Coffee Table
African Mahogany with Ebony and Maple inlay

This table reflects an Arts and Craft feeling slightly more refined than commonly attributed to that genre. Although the lines appear simple, there is a great deal of subtle visual activity, from a muted inlay in one corner to the various softly sculpted details on the edges of the table. $2,000.00 ( Click here for an example ).

End Table
African Mahogany with Ebony and Maple inlay

This is a companion piece to the coffee table, reflecting the same refined Arts and Craft feeling. It is currently available at Copperwood Artware Gallery in Orange, CA. $1,200

Arts & Crafts Floor Lamp in the style of Greene & Greene
African Mahogany

This lamp is another personal interpretation of the style of Greene & Greene. Afficionados of their work will recognize many elements. The lamp shade utilizes shellac bonded mica, the same as similar lamps of one hundred years ago. Tradionally this style of lamp used a very low wattage bulb and produced very little light. Modern compact fluorescent bulbs make this design practical again as the amount of light produced from their low wattage provides satisfactory illumination without the heat buildup that might damage a wood framed shade. This piece is currently available at Copperwood Artware Gallery in Orange, CA. $2,000

Swinging Cradle in the Style of Greene & Greene
African Mahogany and Ebony

This cradle is another personal interpretation of the style of Greene & Greene. It is a guaranteed family heirloom. You can't have this one ( Click here to see why! ) but you are welcome to commission another. In mahogany it would be $6,000 and several months of lead time.

Rocking Chair
Pomelle Sapele and Curly Maple

The distinctive back notwithstanding, most people find this chair quite comfortable. There is great deal of support in the small of the back, much like the traditional secretary's chair.

The chair in this picture received the Design Award at the 2006 Design in Wood Exhibition in San Diego and Best of Show at the 2007 Fine Art Woodworking show in Orange County. It is currently available at Copperwood Artware Gallery in Orange, CA. $9,000 Other wood combinations can be commissioned.

Oenophile Entertainment Center
Curly Maple and African Mahogany

This particular piece was designed to hold several goblets and a couple bottles of wine (hence the whimsical name). The idea is that before an evening of entertaining the host would stock the wines and glassware appropriate for that evening. Of course, it can be made in other configurations.

The piece in this picture is not available but new pieces can be commissioned. $3000
